Set in the heart of the Stelvio National Park and 50 metres from the Cevedale ski slopes, Hotel Pedranzini offers renovated rooms overlooking the mountains and a spa & wellness centre. The owners are very friendly. Apart from staying, we also have dinner at the hotel for 3 times.

Wine Hotel Retici Balzi is located in the village of Poggiridenti, in the heart of Valtellina, surrounded by the Alps. It has an indoor spa and an outdoor jacuzzi, available in Summer. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever seen.

Just 100 metres from the cable car to the Motta- Madesimo ski slopes, Tambò is in the Alps near the Swiss border. It features an 80 m² terrace with mountain views, sun loungers, tables and chairs. Very large room with mountain (and, alas, ski lifts) view. Great food in the restaurant.
