Gran Sagitario bevindt zich in Ciutadella, op 3 minuten lopen van Cala Santandria, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Onze kamer was ruim en had hebben een schitterend uitzicht. Het zwembad was heel groot en alles was enorm schoon.

Het Cala Bona y Mar Blava ligt op 100 meter van een beschut strand, in het historische centrum van de plaats Ciutadella in Menorca. Het hotel heeft een buitenzwembad met zonneterras. Dat het een bijzondere mooie locatie en verblijf was met zeer vriendelijk personeel!

Hotel ARTIEM Capri is just 500 meters from Mahon’s main shops and bars. Es Grau Beach is 8 km away and S’Albufera Nature Reserve is within 7 km. I loved the Green Lounge where free drinks and snacks (beer & wine, soft drinks, tea & coffee) were available (self service) until midnight. It gave a nice atmosphere to the hotel. I enjoyed reading a book, chilling there at the end of my day. The breakfast was lovely, with an "egg station" where eggs were made on the spot to your liking (the lady was lovely, a pleasure to see here every morning). Also, I checked out at 6.20am and the day before the lovely lady at reception offered breakfast to go, which was very handy. Make sure to ask the day before. The room was spacious, well thought and nothing beats Italian showers. The location was good for me - walking distance from the port and restaurants (Mahón is rather small). Also it is close to the airport (10min by bus - L10) which drops you at the bus station (3 min away from the hotel). The same bus station allows you to travel around the island if you didn't rent a car. It takes 1h to go to Ciutadella, on the other side of the island (50min with the Xpress bus).

Hotel Maïa bevindt zich in Ciutadella, op minder dan 1 km van Platja Gran, en biedt een terras, allergievrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. The hotel is quaint, beautiful and very peaceful; it couldn't be in a better spot, right in the very centre of the historic Ciutadella. Everything is so lovely decorated, giving a charming and fresh vibe (the hotel also smelled so nice in all the areas :)). We stayed in the terrace room, which was incredible. The terrace was huge and the view was amazing. There were Rituals products in the bathroom, which was also nice. The room overall was top. The breakfast was also great, where little plates with local foods were prepared, like Menorcan cheese and sausage, eggs and more - there were a variety of different things that were prepared on the spot. Apart from this, the staff was so lovely and helpful! Thanks for making the stay so nice.

El Consul Mao - Hotel Boutique bevindt zich in Maó, op 7 minuten lopen van haven van Mahon en 10 km van Es Grau. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Uitgebreid en zeer lekker ontbijt. Propere en mooi ingerichte kamers. Zeer comfortabel bed.

Hotel S'Antiga Adults Only heeft een buitenzwembad, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in Es Mercadal. De accommodatie ligt op 23 km van haven van Mahon en is voorzien van een bar. Het hotel is héél mooi ingericht, zowel de hal beneden als de kamers zelf, met veel oog voor detail. De eigenaars en het personeel zijn vriendelijke en warme mensen die ook raad geven over te bezoeken plaatsen of helpen praktische problemen op te lossen. Iedere dag was mijn kamer ook perfect terug op orde gebracht. De ligging van het hotel is ook goed, vlak bij het centrum van Es Mercadal. Als je een huurauto hebt kan je van hieruit perfect heel Menorca verkennen.

S´Estancia Suites heeft een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een bar in Es Mercadal. Menorca offers a wide range of possibilities regarding hosting options, including all types of hotels and its locations. S'Estancia Suites is not an obvious choice, since it is a small hotel located in a city that is not the most touristic city of the island (Es Mercadal), but we are highly pleased with our stay. S'Estancia team goes far and beyond to make you feel at home and this small hotel offers comfortable and very well decorated suites with comfy beds and high quality linen, towels, etc... making the island experience relaxing and pleasant. They offer a nice breakfast with local products and the hotel also has a pool, that I must confess we did not enjoyed because we preferred going to the beaches. And here is something to take into account if you are planning to visit Menorca: the island is not that big, but you will enjoy the most if you have a car (there is a public parking in front of the hotel), and will be really convenient to rent a car while you are in the island, so you can visit different cities, beaches and other spots (do not miss the lighthouses). If you are planning to go to a hotel and to stay around it all your time, probably Es Mercadal is not the place for you. But if you are planning to know the island, to explore its cities and beaches and to return every day to a hotel that feels like home, you may consider to book S'Estancia. You will not regret! The team is fantastic. The tips they gave are precious... and you may borrow all you need to enjoy a sunny day at the beach (including beach chairs). And to be fair I have to say that although Es Mercadal is not a city with many touristic attractions, there are nice dining options and you do not have to leave the city to have nice tapas, pizzas or ice creams... the city center is very nice and have good options. We loved our stay... and recommend it to everyone who value its money!

Meloussa Boutique Hotel ligt in Ciutadella, op 12 minuten lopen van Platja Gran, en biedt een terras, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Such a wonderful experience. Hotel Amano Maison Carrée ligt in Alaior, op 14 km van haven van Mahon, en biedt een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. It truly is a nice and quiet place. Perfect location. Hotel rooms are confortable and spacious. I highly recommend it overall. We will be sure to stay here again in the future
